Balloon page 9 top half

I actually had to recreate this after a crash when I did the initial two frames, but honestly this version looks much better. I also did a visual gag, and those of you who know me that comedy is not my strong suit, and even when I try to do comedy it's usually dialogue based. With a downside in that he isn't a heartmaster, Julian has to think his way through a fight instead of punching harder than the bad guy. (A philosophy I hope I can carry over even once he gets his super punching powah!). Actually on that note, since you on CC basically get to be part of the "beta" version of this comic (AKA the pieces I make before compiling it on my website)...You all know, if you've read my comics in the past, that Julian's heart power goes on to be super strength mixed with a flame aura, powered by rage. I was thinking of waiting until about 50% (maybe even more) of the way through the story before giving him that heart, and building him more as a rogue than a brute. I wanted him to be agile either way, both before and after, but I thought about giving him weaponry. Like right now he has *a gun* but I was thinking of giving him all sorts of gadgets or whacky weapons. I worry though, would the shift between gadget-wielding rogue and hard-hitting bruiser be too much of a change? or would it be fine? it's not like he'd stop fighting smart, just shift from tools to his power.
