I know it's been awhile, but rest assured, killdeers are still out there killing deer - or at least documenting their failure to do so. And yes, I know that killdeers can't be eligible for chicken of the year. They don't even want the title. Hard as it is to believe, not everyone wants to be a chicken.

Transcript: As killdeers, it is our purpose in life to kill every deer in existence. Now, this chart shows the ratio of killed deer to non-killed deer. As you can see, the dissymmetry is alarming. We must redouble our efforts! Yeah, let’s do a pie chart next.
