It really irks me that there are only twenty six letters in the English alphabet.
Why should that bother you?
Why? Because it can’t be divided by ten, that’s why! Would it have killed them to add four more letters? What’s the use of having a metric system if they’re going to use a non-metric alphabet?
The good old U.S. customary alphabet was good enough for our forefathers and it’s good enough for us.
