And what we know so far does beg further examination: as far as our sensors can tell, though it appears to at one time have been organic, it shows no sign of ever having been an intelligent lifeform and yet someone has taken the time to put clothing on it. For all we know it could be carrying an interstellar virus and destroying it would release said virus, wiping out every civilization in the universe! Interstellar virus - really?
