An art piece inspired by a message I sent in a webcomic discord. They were talking about doing a "comfy" event and my first response was "My characters are not allowed to know rest until I am. They will struggle eternally in their crusade against the evils of the world and they will never win."

This is a modern man fighting modern evils. Anything he could use to comfort himself is provided by the evil men he wants to stop; only temporary distractions from a true peace he can only know through a sense of belonging.
