You know, I always thought it was a shame that R2-D2 and Darth Vader never got to share any meaningful dialogue in the original Star Wars movies. I really feel they would have had chemistry.
That’s why I’m writing a series of fan fiction where they drive a truck together along Route Sixty-six in the nineteen fifties.
Star Wars is high fantasy set in another universe. How would they end up on Route Sixty-six?
Well, in this version Darth Vader is a trucker from Alabama and R2-D2 is a six hundred pound circus bear that can ride a unicycle.
Oh, well as long as it all makes sense.
