The Twist - With A Twist!
Pen_alias 16 October, 2022
The Twist was a dance craze popular in the early nineteen sixties (and was “here to stay”); The Monster Mash is a novelty pop song recorded in nineteen sixty-two wherein Dracula was alleged to say “whatever happened to the Transylvania Twist?” to which background singers reply “it’s now The Mash”. No, I was not active in the pop scene in the sixties, nor was I alive. You can be too young to remember things but you’re never too young to know about them.

NO CAPES
Le "rire sous cape" résiste toujours.
I like Straitylvania a bit more
Transcript:
I just can’t get over the whole Transylvania Twist thing.
Seriously Vlad, it’s now The Mash, get over it.
I was assured the Twist was here to stay when I purchased my custom Twist wardrobe!
How do you even do a Transylvania Twist?
It’s very simple Larry: you just do a regular Twist, only you’re wearing a cape.
There’s a good chance the cape requirement is what killed it.
I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that!
