Tout cela est frappé au coin du bon sens.
the first two frames hit too close to home for me.
I don't boil them in oil. I send them to freezer camp.

You know, it really doesn’t pay to be too reliable.
What do you mean?
Well, if people know you’re always there just doing what you do, they take it for granted; they assume no matter what they do, you’re just going to do what you do. They forget to show appreciation.
Take laying eggs for instance: you lay an egg every single day. Does the farmer compliment you? Does he pat you on the head and say “win one for the Gipper”? No! He takes the egg and moves on without so much as hello.
But lay one egg a month, then what does he do?
He chops off your head and boils you in oil.
He showers you with praise! He regales you with food! He sends you on all expense paid trips to tropical paradises.
Is this before or after he boils you in oil?
He wants another egg, and he’ll do whatever it takes to get it! He’ll beg! He’ll grovel! He’ll worship at your feet!
Kind of a sap isn’t he? Eggs are like two bucks a dozen.
Well, he likes them fresh.
