Boldly Paradox

I know what you're thinking: you're wonder whether Uhenra is screaming no at the prospect of her son being kidnapped by space pirates or at the thought of this stale storyline going on another three months. Well, rest assured, the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight (I hope). Incidentally, if you did figure out the whole Wheatley-Caw'n Too connection three weeks ago, thanks for keeping it to yourself. There's nothing like sitting on a surprise ending that everyone already knows.

I did not see that coming
" il y a plus de vingt bandes dessinées " - - - vous utilisé la bande dessinée comme unité de temps ? - -heu, d'espace ? - -d'autre chose ?
If Caw'n Too is Wheatly, why doesn't he know who Wheatly is?
Transcript 2:
Now is not the time to do your best Doc Brown Spork. What’s going on here?
It’s all patently obvious Captain Turk: barring the advent of a time traveling adventure, the universe cannot accept two instances of the same person in the same place at the same time. When the two came vis-à-vis, the least dominant of the pair simply ceased to be.
Wait a minute - are you saying Wheatley and Caw’n Too were the same bird?
Oh, like who hadn’t figured THAT out over twenty comics ago?
Transcript 1:
Captain’s log: star date - does anybody really know what time it is? - Caw’n’s diminutive crony was beamed aboard ship to meet Wheatley. As the two stood face to face, Wheatley appeared to vanish from existence. At least, think it was Wheatley - Wheatley was the one on the left, right? Right…no, left!
Caw’n Too, what did you do with my son Wheatley?
Who’s Wheatley?
The one you were just staring at!
I didn’t see anyone.
He was probably just beamed off the ship by space pirates. It shouldn’t take us more than two or three months to track him down.
Noooooo!
He wasn’t beamed off board Chief. I’ve seen my share of beaming, and that wasn’t it. It was as if he was just erased!
Erased…from existence!
