As far as making a heart power, that's fine dude, shit, this might be canon. That guy definitely isn't THE LEADER of the whole thing, but could be the leader of a specific squad, it's not like these guys know everything about this planet. I'm actually flattered to see you put the effort in to get creative like that.

Naturally Zeek turned them down But, their leader used some kind of portal power to steal weapons anyway. Then they portaled into the engine room before we knew anything was wrong! They were that close to taking over life control and the whole ship! Aye lad, it was a near thing!
