Transcript: If only yesterday were today, tomorrow would be Thanksgiving. What are you talking about? If today were yesterday, tomorrow would only be today. I didn’t say “if today were yesterday”, I said “if yesterday were today”. There’s a difference. There is not! There most certainly is! If yesterday were today, then today would be tomorrow and the tomorrow of tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so the tomorrow of today if yesterday were today would be Thanksgiving, whereas if today were yesterday tomorrow would just be today. You see? It’s all perfectly clear. It is not perfectly clear! You could stand there spouting that nonsense until next year and it still wouldn’t be perfectly clear! Say! If today were next year, tomorrow really would be Thanksgiving! Aaaaaaaah!
