Naga sake
One day this is gonna be some of the characters I grew up on. The idea of seeing the rugrats or Ed Edd n Eddy hit public domain has my knees aching already. XD
To think that companies have been running these same characters dry for so long that their oldest versions are in the public domain now. Popeye is basically just a food mascot at this point though, relegated to the same domain as the flintstones. Believe it or not my little sister used to watch the old black and white popeye cartoons, I believe they had them on netflix for a short while.
I believe I've made my opinion on copyright clear in the past. Remember folks, as long as you're being creative with it, I will never stop you using my characters!
next year we'll have Pluto!
Robin Williams is in the public domain?
