btw, the prize is named from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strega_(liqueur) , or better for its producers.

In Italy Premio Strega is quite important. Maybe he even asked some of his minions to write a memo card for the book, so that he could read it.

Well, film makers make movies based on books without reading them; why should he trouble himself reading them over a silly award?
